Bell Express Vu and the English language

OK, I’m abloggin’ again. After having spent many hours on the phone trying to get technical support I came up with a great idea. I was gettting terribly frustrated talking to the people in India. They  can barely speak English and they are very scripted in what they say. So, next time I phoned I pressed 2 for French. I remembered they wanted my phone number and then press 1 for technical help. It’s the same whether it’s English or French. When I finally talked to someone I said” Est-que vous parles Anglais/” Yes I do was the answer. You see I figured they would be in Canada because Bell would never try and teach the people in India French. They barely taught them bad English. Secondly, 99% of the time the French Canadian will speak English as well.  They are also much more versed with their technical knowledge. So give it a try next time you’re in need of help and be sure to try and throw in a little French if you can. They appreciate the effort. This sort of idea works well with anybody using these phone centres as well as with Air Canada!
