I am really excited about our up and coming trip to Florida. Our destination is Dunedin and we will be staying with my parents, who I can hardly wait to see. My dad has got us tickets to see the New York Yankees vs the Blues Jays exhibition game. The weather, I have been told, is just about perfect right now. Tuesday nights are Euchre night at the park’s club house- all of us, Bob, my parents and myself love to compete in Euchre. The beaches will be very inviting. There is a little harbour town that both Bob and I remember fondly from the last time we were in Florida – Tarpoon Springs, which is famous for sponge diving. Looking forward to seeing Granger and Mabel, my parents’ neighbors. Apparently there is a new alligator (5 -6 feet long) with a baby (3 feet long) in the canal that runs along my parents back yard. The turtles in the canal are laying eggs but sadly it is a survival of the strongest – the Egrits are eating the turtle eggs as soon as they see them. Did I mention the beaches? The last time Bob and I went to Chrystal Beach we went parasailing – what a blast!!! What will we do to top that this time? I also love the giant tricycles that my parents have to get around in!

Chiropractors
Both Bob and I have new chiropractors. I moved on to a new chiropractor because it seemed to me that my bone problem was hanging around, not going anywhere with the chiropractic treatment that I was receiving. With the garden season coming up (and I am very excited and antcipating it) I needed to get my bone problems fixed! I had read about this new chiropractor that has moved to Castlegar and there was something about her ad that intrigued me. I got to meet her at the Home and Lifestyle Expo and quickly made an appointment with her. We went through my medical history and then she went over my entire body while I went into different positions. It turns out that my left side of my body is four pounds heavier than my right side and my right leg is a half an inch shorter than my left leg. She did a lot of bone manipulation and massaging. I could not believe the relief that I felt after my first visit. I have now gone a second time and I am a little tender in a few areas but we are now getting my bones and body to be equal on both sides. I am so glad that I met this new chiropractor!
Bob is also having a lot of success with his new chiropractor. Bob was quite a lot more severe than me so he needed a lot more bone movement. Bob has gone through tremendous pain recently but is finally feeling relief. Sometimes you just have to move on to a new specialist!

Global warming, Bailey & the Girls
It’s been a while since anything has been written here so I don’t know that anybody is looking anymore. Susan is in to Facebook big time and I’ve had nothing inspiring to write about. Perhaps it’s the long winter we’ve had. I’m going to throw up a few pictures. One was taken a couple days ago. It’s indicative of this winter. It was less than one week before the first day of spring. What does that amount of snow have to do with global warming? Attention Al Gore, recheck your facts.
I’ve also posted up a picture of Bailey enjoying the lack of global warming.
She loves to sit or lay outside in the snowpile on the deck. It gives her a much better view of the land from up there. All the better to take care of us. I’ve also tried to post a picture of my two lovely daughters (Lindsay & Rheanna) but it won’t seem to post although if you go to Susan & Bob’s pictures, it made it in there.
